Article Guidelines:
We are always looking for interesting articles from those "in the field". We'll consider just about any topic as long as it relates to small town living. Subjects we would love to receive articles on include:
How We Did It: Strategies for Making a Living in a Small Town
Growing Up Country: Biographical stories about what it is/was like living in the country.
Kids in the Country: Experiences raising kids in the country.
Gardening
Hobby Farming
Crafts: Step by step, "How to" articles.
Recipes
How To Articles of Any Sort Relating to Rural Living
Farm Profiles: Tell us about your farm
Health and Wellness
Employment in Small Towns

Important Steps Prior to submitting an article for consideration:
1. Ask before submitting. If you don't have an article done then ask before you write one. We can let you know whether the topic is a subject we are interested in running. If you already have an article written go ahead and submit your piece.
2. We prefer Word documents. We will accept any format you're able to provide us though and in worse case scenarios will take your stories in the body of an email.
3. Please include the following information on the first three lines of your submission:
a. Article Title
b. Author's Name
c. Author's Email Address
Photo Guidelines:
Our photo requirements depend upon upcoming articles. If you've written an article and can supply a few photos relating to we would love to see them. Photos should be high resolution. Generally sending the original image from your camera unsized, uncropped will permit us to crop and size as space permits. When submitting photos be sure to tell us how you would like us to credit the photos.
